Born in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. Graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Literature. She served in Kirisutosha Gakusei Kai (KGK) for 20 years and holds a Master Degree from the University of Aberdeen. She has been the Dean of Tamagawa Seigakuin since 2013.

Former International President of the Lausanne Movement. Chairman of the executive committee of the 3rd Lausanne World Mission Conference (CapeTown 2010). Together with his wife Jeannie, he served as a missionary for Asian Access in Japan for 27 years starting in 1980. He is the founding director of the J. Christy Wilson Center for World Missions at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary near Boston. With three children who are married and have families, and five grandchildren who now lives in New York, Washington DC, and Vancouver, Canada.​

Pastor Kisung Yoo is the founder of With Jesus Ministry, a ministry that encourages Christians to be aware of and obedient to living Christ within them. His message focuses on two major themes. One is unification with Jesus Christ, based on the scripture Galatians 2:20, 'I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.' The other theme is living with Christ, based on John 15:4, 'Remain in me, as I also remain in you.'

He retired from his role as Senior Pastor of Good Shepherd Methodist Church in South Korea after serving over 40 years as the senior pastor in three churches. He currently serves as the Chair of the Korean preparatory committee for Seoul 2024, the Fourth Lausanne Congress. He has been married to Rebecca for over 40 years and resides in Yongin, South Korea.
